"천백" is a variety of Baekbokryun, developed through selective breeding at 'Moonhyangwon' in 2012. This particular cultivar features a natural snow-white Samgwang Bok-Ryun pattern, offering a high-quality Daebok-Run with impressive color contrast and transparency. One distinctive characteristic is the presence of mountain-like spots resembling silver-white sand powder on a dark blue background, visible on the front of the leaf. The back of the leaf is especially noteworthy, showcasing a pronounced elegance.
Notably, the Shina pattern on the leaves can be intense, resembling a ghostly appearance in [Boogeunjeon], leading to a rusty effect. At times, the Shina pattern may manifest as Daebokryun from the beginning. A unique feature is the red (anthocyan) hue of the Shina pattern, adding to its beauty. Originally named 'Baekja (白柘),' it was later changed to 'Cheonbaek.' The leaves of this variety are sensitive, exhibit excellent gloss, and have a thick, compact appearance. Additionally, the diversity of flowers in this cultivar stems from the infusion of [Cheongpung (淸風)] blood with wild leaves, and the original species boasts a double ring with excellent leaf characteristics.
